We are ARRIVA!

Arriva is one of the largest transport companies in Europe. It employs over 36,000 people in eleven European countries and transports over 1.5 billion passengers annually.

In the Czech Republic, we operate over 2,000 buses and over 100 trains and employ more than 3,500 people. We provide bus services in several cities and regions and trains on regional lines across the country. We operate over 15,000 connections daily and transport over 115 million passengers a year. We are the leader in the Czech Republic's transport market.

Arriva entered the Czech bus transport market in 2006 with the acquisition of the transport company TRANSCENTRUM bus, followed by BOSÁK BUS, OSNADO, and other transport companies.

We currently transport passengers in city, suburban, and long-distance buses across the country. Our blue, yellow, and white buses operate throughout the Plzeň Region, and we transport passengers on business and leisure trips across much of Central Bohemia and Prague. We operate white electric buses and gas buses with distinctive red stripes on the Kladno public transport network, while all-red buses run on the Příbram public transport network. You will encounter our white buses on routes in parts of the Olomouc and Zlín regions and in the Pardubice region in the Chrudim area. We operate local public transport routes in Chrudim, as well as in the neighboring region of Trutnov. We also provide city routes in three cities in the Moravian-Silesian Region. Our fleet consists not only of suburban and city buses, but also luxury sky-blue long-distance buses that carry passengers on three Arriva Express lines from the capital to northern Bohemia to Teplice, Most, and Litvínov, or in Moravia between Brno, Prostějov, and Olomouc. These are the first buses in Czechia that do not have traditional rear-view mirrors for drivers.

We entered the Czech railways a few years later, in 2013. Even before that, we provided rail transport under the name of the then Connex Morava. This happened on October 1, 2002, when our train began operating on the regional railway line Železnice Desná.

Our first trains ran on the line from Prague to Kralupy nad Vltavou, and we subsequently connected the capital city with Benešov. We also operated our now legendary express train connecting Prague, Slovácko, and Trenčín and Nitra in Slovakia. Our first contracted line was for Prague and its immediate surroundings, where we operated the S49 line, known as the city line, connecting Hostivař with the city center and Roztoky u Prahy. Since December 2019, we have been operating trains on express lines from Prague to České Budějovice, Rakovník, and Tanvald, and between Kolín and Šluknov. At the same time, we launched selected passenger trains in the Liberec and Zlín regions. Since mid-December 2020, we have also been operating trains on the R14 express line from Pardubice via Liberec to Ústí nad Labem. At the end of 2023, our modern electric trains started running on the P1 line in the Plzeň Region, and a year later, our pink and white trains started running on three lines in the South Moravian Region.
